First of all Middle relief is not a waste; this is how the Twins groomed Liriano this year. Second I think the Tigers need a solid closer; Jones is a walking question mark. Problem is that so many teams in baseball now have such a difficulty filling this spot. 1/2 of major league has closers who go out on a nightly basis and you don't know what to expect from them. I think they will also make a trade for one or both....starter/closer. Z's time is coming but I don't think you will see him in either of these positions unless the Tigers are riddled with injuries in the second half.
